Flourishing in his solo endeavours since the official disbandment of his previous outfit Yuck, London-based musician Max Bloom has a new album arriving on the 18th of June. Lifted from the forthcoming LP, titled Pedestrian, 'Palindromes' sees Bloom's distinctive guitar playing shine through once more. Lyrically, 'Palindromes' gives us a personal snapshot of the magical first moments in a new relationship, as Bloom explains: “This song is about how I got together with my girlfriend Anna, who also plays bass in my live band (and co-wrote two songs on the album). We were best friends for years, then she broke up with her boyfriend and we got together quite suddenly. It was completely unplanned, but when it happened it felt like a lucid dream."
